WOW! Conference + Easter was only the best thing to ever happen. I can't decide which one I loved more, I'm guessing it must be the combination of the two! I loved all of the talks and loved the overall themes of : grace, family, marriage, sacrifice, putting God first, turning phones off, and the reality of the 2nd coming!

So much happened this week but first I'm gonna start with my top 5 talks: 1) Elder Relund about how to be Latter-Day Saints! I loved it because it totally reminded me about my favorite message from President Uchtdorf, "Always in the Middle." We are always in the middle of time. It never is too late to change or start something new! We are meant to change and not do the same things that we did 5 years ago or even 14 and a half months ago. 2) President Uchtdorf about GRACE! That has only been the central theme of my studies lately and so it was completely perfect! 3) Bishop Causse about continuing to be amazed at the little things. I love the little miracles that happen every day! And will never stop marvelling at the little things--like wishing for Easter ham and then at the last second before we were going in for dinner being invited over by the Wakefields to eat Easter ham. 4) Elder Ringwood and how we can be like Shiblon. First we are accountable to the Lord and so we can always go about doing good and living a life of service. 5) Elder Nelson's about the Sabbath Day. I love how we can all take a step up in our sabbath worship to truely make the Sabbath a delight! Some other things that happened this week was that Zone Conference in Amarillo was amazing! I got to see Sister Peck and sleep over at Sister Evan's house (from Cherri's ward) It was also my first Zone Conference ever not in Roswell. I have offically been in the Roswell Stake for 1 year now! Woot woot! We got Tiwis installed in our cars at Zone Conference which basically is this little computer thing that is in the car that tells you when you speed, don't buckle up, or drive aggressively haha. Don't worry it hasn't gone off too often! Also in Amarillo there is a frozen yogurt place with a dairy-free flavor! I was in heaven! This week we did a ton of service! 9 and a half hours! We went to harvest ministries (a food bank) twice, once with our less-active and painted someone's house! We had a cookout with the Shedden's for our dinner appointment this week! I love hot dogs and hamburgers and fruit salad soooo much! The Battles are doing better, we love to bring them little treats, one time we even got an extra cake from Harvest Ministries to take them! They were so excited, it was adorable! We are planning and preparing for our member fireside that we are going to have about "Because He Lives" and can't wait. The members are getting excited, we are getting excited and yeah it is going to be the best! It will be the last Sunday of the transfer, April 19th. I can't wait to hear your favorite talks!! Love you! xoxo Hna. Slade
