The trio is amazing! Yesterday we went to church and accidentally color-coordinated our outfits, talk about the best. Colds are attacking us though so if you could pray that they don't get any worse, in particular that Hna. Gonzalez's gets better. Being a missionary is the best and hilarious because you wake up and hear your companion all yucky with their nose and coughing and just stay sleeping right next to them in the same room because we have to sleep in the same room. We now have 3 beds lined up right in a row, it's the cutest haha. We also have a humidifier and the heat turned up to 75 and the door shut so we bake those germs :)
But really the trio is so fun! There is so many of us to go to lessons, knock doors, contact people, at church we have our own little family, all sorts of good things! And this week we are going to do splits!
This week I learned about the power of gratitude (d and c 78:19) It really does help us receive blessings, this I know! We got to do a lot of service this week, we went back to the thirft store but decided that would probably be the last time because we want to do stuff more in the community, in particular with different churches and so on Saturday we served a pancake breakfast with St. Andrew's church from 7-10am. It was soo cool because by the end they were asking us all sorts of questions about our missions and the church! We are looking forward to going next month too and then we are going to the Catholic Church this week because they serve lunch every day to about 100 people in need. We also went to the hospital to visit sick members this week, it was so sad, and one actually passed away yesterday. So pray for the members here. They are amazing and could use a little boost! Get this! We are teaching Sheila again! On Wednesday after we picked up Hna. Gonzalez we had to go to Walmart so she could get some food and right when we pulled up so did Sheila! And she invited us back and told us what times to go so that her daughter ( that hard core cussed us out ) wouldn't be there! So we got to teach her this week and it went great! And then she gave us deer meat patties when we left hahaha. Sunday continues to ask the most amazing questions of the soul! We love it! We are teaching her tomorrow so pray that goes well and pray that she can come to church this Sunday. She says that she loves meeting with us and learning all these things that completely change her perspective. She loves what heaven is actually going to be, because she says that just sitting on a cloud with a harp with get borrow, agreed!! Basically I just love the Spirit so much! And we are following it more and more! xoxox con amor, Hna. Slade
