This week was crazy!! I have now driven to Lubbock 4 times in one week! But until next month for MLC we should be here, well besides exchanges. Which we have our first one tomorrow, back in El Llano, which I am dying I am so excited for! Let's be honest I miss the branch!! Saying goodbye was so hard! But look what Brenda made me! (picture #1) Even though I didn't have to play the piano yesterday in church, or give a talk, or lead the music, or anything actually, which was nice, I almost started bawling because I just miss it so much!! But I am so excited to get to know the ward here! It's so white and actually pretty rich too, which is very scary but it should be good! I just love being a missionary and meeting new people.

Also my compaion has basically been companions with a ton of my past companions so it is like I already know her :) and I love her! She is from Guatemala!

We have one super awesome investigator named Martin, who is Mexican! But he speaks english... So pray for him that he will keep on progressing and converting for his baptismal date on the 29th. We want to baptize convert Martin not investigator Martin. :) Also we found this guy named Adam, if you could please pray that he will want to feel the light and the love of God. He is super depressed and when we read Alma 36 he said his favorite part was the dark-ness. Also we have been jamming to the song "Glorious" which is the best and so we showed it to him, because he always raps these really depressing raps in the middle of our lessons. Anyway after we listened to it I asked how he felt and I kid you not these were his words: "like a horse with a broken leg that needs to be put down" Yeah.... not exactly what we expected but we love it. Go and listen to the song! MLC was the best on Friday! That is when all the Zone Leaders and Sister-Training Leaders have this awesome conference with President and learn from him and the Assistants! Anyway it was the best! And I got to see Rebecca McCarthy!!! And now tomorrow we have Zone training which is where we re-teach what they taught us to the zone, so please pray that my instruction will go well. That is definitely the part that I was most worried about as an STL. Which funny story actually, my first instruction was a conference call with our zone. Welp we lost our phone before, actually we left it at a less-actives house and so then we were running every where trying to find it and yeah the details are way funnier but I don't really have time but one day I will tell you the full story. But long story short my first instruction was given in our car parked on the side of the road. I am in the Roswell 1st ward and we just got a new ward mission leader yesterday. Every one is super friendly. Roswell is definitely the biggest area I have served in! It is super pretty at parts here and if I don't look up and miss the missing mountains I can convince myself I am in Logan on certain streets. So that is so awesome. It's super weird to not eat tortillas with everything now hahaha. But I am still brown on the inside for sure! #spanishforever Welp time is up! But I love you all!! xoxo Hna. Slade
