It's Halloween this weekend!! The mission tour and I get to see Hna. Gonzlez...expect pictures galore next week! We have some many awesome plans for our little Halloween party too...but I don't wanna ruin the surprise. (Hint: donuts +floss)

So for this week we prepared ourselves for the holiday by baking pumpkin cookies. We both received a recipe from home and decided to have a contest to see which were better...yeah they ended up tasting exactly the same hahahaha. We also were given this delicious pumpkin hot chocolate drink at one of our dinner appointments this week. And we decorated our house with decorations from the dollar tree, it's sooo cute! We love paper lanterns!

This week we saw a lot of miracles:Okay so I was sitting in Sacrament Meeting yesterday and I was thinking about just how much I wanted a piece of homemade bread. We don't get a whole lot of homemade bread or really any, homemade tortillas yes, bread no. So I decided that I would pray for that in the night time...are you ready, get this! After church Brother Christensen (from the English ward) came up and asked if we could come to his house for dinner that night, we said yes. We showed up and the first thing his wife says is, "It will be 12 minutes and then the bread will be done baking." I almost dyed, I almost cried. God is good! This week we were Morning Finding and we found this lady and she didn't speak Spanish but I asked if she knew anyone that did that we could teach and she said yeah you can call my aunt. So the next day we did and she said she was not interested at all and super involved in her church, so I told her that we do service as well and offered to help with anything and she said yes. So the next day we and the elders helped them cut all this firewood and stack it in their trailer and take it to the house and etc etc etc. Well get this they came to church this week and want to come next week!! But they prefer English so they will be the Elders but still soo cool!! Also during this service I got nailed in the back of the head by one of the elders on accident with one of the pieces of wood and had a huge goose-egg. So I put frozen corn on it and when I was hungry just grabbed a piece from the bag and ate it. It still is super tender and a little swollen but all is well. It was so funny though cuz it was toward the end of the project and so we were talking to the lady and she just keep talking and talking and talking and I REALLY needed to sit down or else I was going to pass out so I just sat down on the ground in the middle of our conversation and keep talking.

We also found some new investigators Marissa and her two daughters Jasmine and Christina. She is a single mom and the daughters are ages 9 and 12. Actually the one turns 9 today and so we are going to bake her cupcakes. The girls are hilarious!! Jasmine (9 years old) is a dang hoot, she has already knocked over my bike and worn my helmet, and Christina is growing out her hair for her Quincenera in 3 years. She already told us the theme and the colors and everything. I just love them so much already!! So please pray they can come to the activities this week and that some miracle can happen with Marissa's work. She works at the dairies every single day until 4:30pm...

Manuel is still doing soo good!! His work schedule should change on the 1st then he should be able to come to church after that! He loves the message and is so excited that his sins can actually be erased. We were teaching about repentance and he couldn't believe that it is really possible for God to not remember his sins, but it is!!! The gospel is the best!!

Other fun happenings this week were:

-Taco Bell opened and so naturally we went on opening day hahaha. We didn't even eat a taco just really wanted to go.

-Every single day this week at least someone has called me Mexican. Our less-active even went as far as to ask, "So do you even know English?" hahahaha

-We were teaching one of our potentials and we were talking about prophets and how we have a prophet today named Thomas S. Monson and he was like, "Yeah I know him! He is from Nigeria and is colored!." Welp not exactly...

That is about it for this week!! It is week of the transfer and so please pray that I can stay!! At least one more transfer!! I just can't leave now!!

xoxo
