It's as Simple as Asking a Question

Matthew 7:7 has a point. And we found it this week. After District Meeting on Tuesday we decided our focus would be on asking inspired questions this week and we saw miracles!! Never have I had so many people cry in lessons or 'Morning Finds.' I decided I like when I make people cry (not in a mean way) because then we know they are thinking about what we are saying and feeling what we are saying.

Anyway this week was also the fastest week of my mission I think. It feels like just 20 minutes ago I was logging off from emailing last week. So we will see what I can find to share..

Quien es Suegra? She is Hno. Quintana's mom and she is fantastic. She has been coming with us to lessons and making us dinner and then this morning she taught us how to make oatmeal (the Mexican way) and arroz con leche. And earlier this week she gave us the recipe for albondigas. And She is hilarious. Oh yeah and this week we did service of spreading masa for her tamales for 2 hours straight. She sang us songs too :)

This week I saw a mouse in our house twice. Did I scream? Yes. And cry and hyperventilate. My companion was in the other room and thought I was getting kidnapped. But don't worry it is dead. We bought traps and rat poison and I prayed really really hard. That is 4 in this house. I wanna move...

We had exchanges this week. 5 sisters in one house. Was it fun? Well I was sick. Like really I had to stay in basically all day Wednesday cuz I was going to throw-up. :( And to think I had almost made it half my mission without getting that sick. But it passed super fast.

We also had interviews this week and a mission fast and let me just say we love when President Heap prayers. It's so powerful!

Who should you be praying for this week? First, the Sanchez Family, that is Dorotio and his wife Ida and their seven kids. We haven't gotten to teach them all together yet because they had a family emergency and then they had a family reunion. But we have an appointment tomorrow, so pray that goes well! Second, Jose Luis, he is getting anti-ed by the J-dubbs and needs prayers. Pray that he can understand the need to keep coming to church and that you cant "complete" with coming to church. Third, pray for the Vegas, the 2 Virginias, that they will have the faith to pay their tithing. And fourth, pray for Anahi. She is getting baptized this Saturday!! She is a daughter of a less-actives family that we have been working with. And while it technically is not a covert baptism we have been teaching and helping them prepare so we consider it like our baptisms. Yesterday we planned the program with her mom and the bishop and it's gonna be super awesome, I know it!!

Okay that's all I have for this week...

Oh and I gave a talk in church this week and played the piano so that someone could sing a musical number and the normal playing for the hymns. And then I am playing so Anahi can sing at her baptism and playing for the primary program so pray that all goes well, it's difficult at times without getting to practice ever hahaha.
