I Love Being a Missionary

This week was all sorts of a crazy roller coaster but things are going great now!!

We will start with the companion at the first of the week things only got worse, she was so mean! One day I even had to go in the bathroom cuz she made me cry. But I asked her to please be nicer and to trust me and things have been going a lot better. And this week we have some dinner appointments and I would be lying if I didn't say I am excited to watch her eat some meat :) It's good for us! #beefitswhatsfordinner Continued prayers are welcome! This week we had my all-time high of Morning Finds!! YYYYAAAYYYY. Some of them were miracles find some of them were straight up mean. But I love sharing this message with every one! President Eyring said, "At some moment in the world to come, everyone you will ever meet will know what you know now. They will know that the only way to live forever in association with our families and in the presence of our Heavenly Father, and His son, Jesus Christ, was to choose to enter into the gate by baptism at the hands of those with authority from God. They will know that the only way families can be together forever is to accept and keep sacred covenants offered in the temples of God on this earth. And they will know that you knew. And they will remember whether you offered them what someone had offered you." This is why we go out and find people! This is why we need to talk to everyone we see about this great message! Invite, invite, invite! And then go with the missionaries and share your testimony with the investigators, and then fellowship them! They need you! God needs you to do his work! Our investigator Mario is right on track for baptism for the 6th of September. I am so excited!! He was a miracle find. So we were biking and we were on our way home for dinner so we were going pretty fast cuz we were hungry. So we biked right past him but then I saw him out of the corner of my eye, slammed on my brakes, and had us go back! He is so prepared!! He loves everything we teach! Let's us teach everyday! He is so cool. He speaks his Mayan sometimes! He came to church. Last night he had us right down the information for his family in Mexico so missionaries can go visit them too! There really are people just waiting for the truth! Our other main focus is Maria, but this is a different Maria. This Maria me and Sister Crowton found her son on last exchanges. He was super hard hearted but we commited him to letting us come and visit him and his mom. Well long story short we tried to go the next day but couldn't find his house. Then he called us that night and said we missed his appointment. So then we got better directions to his house and went the next day but no one was home. So we left our sticky notes that we always do that they missed our appointment. Well this week on Wednesday I just felt like we really needed to call them and try to have an appointment with them. And we did! And she is awesome! And she came to church! And she gave us onions, potatoes + tomatoes! And at the end of the first lesson she just started bawling and talking about how her son is back in jail now but that she is so glad we found him! That when he came home that night we found him in the park it was the first time he has been nice and happy in forever!! And then she said when we left the stick note he just felt so important! These are God's children!! Okay I am basically out of time for today and the computer is going to shut down but one last thing: The Branch is coming together!! And a new family moved in, the Pedrozas, and they are awesome already! She was a boss at fellow-shipping Maria yesterday at church! And they love missionaries and missionary work!! And they already signed up to come with us this week for lessons! And she is going to feed us dinner on Thursday! Woot woot!! The work is great! The companion is better!
