)First off thank you for all the birthday wishes!! Reading them made me soo happy!! It also took some time so I will keep this short but there is so much to tell!!!!
Exchanges were this week and I was with Sister Crowton. I loved her!! She was a dang hoot, and I even waxed her eyebrows!! She doesn't speak any Spanish though so I was a two way translator for the day for her and our members!
I finished my first journal this week! I wrote every. single. day. I have no clue why I made that my goal when I came out because it is definitely not my favorite thing but I know one day I will look back and be so glad!! I also got behind about a week but finally caught up. It was soooo difficult to start writing daily again!! Then it made me think that's why we have to read our scriptures every day!! Because the more days we miss the more easy it is not to start again. READ DAILY!!!
That brings us to the news of transfers! My companion is leaving!!!!!!!!!!!! On my birthday... and I am getting a brand-new missionary Hermana Vance. I am training her in an all Spanish area and I am scared!! I am definitely excited to show her how amazing it is to be a missionary but the Spanish is going to be a big problem...well I hope not. Can you believe it though a baby on my birthday for the second time!? (the first one being my baby Kyle of course.)
Aunt Cindy called me yesterday!! ( she got permission and my number from President) and she said she will bring me a cake tonight but with us going to Lubbock for transfers tomorrow I said she can just meet us at the transfer sight :) It was so crazy to hear from her and ahh she is just the best!! I love birthday cake!!
Speaking of the Gutierrez...they are our "homecrew" here jajaja. But for real. They are our best friends and on p-days we save two hours just to go over to their house. This Monday we made discada and they are just the best!! Well on Friday they invited us over for dinner and they threw me a party!! They had cake--and shoved my face in whip cream--it's a tradition. They even got us both a birthday gift!! And then we took family pictures!!!

This week the mission set a goal of 625 souls brought to Christ through baptism! So in our individual areas we will be working to reach this goal!! We can do it!! With faith and hard work anything is possible!!!
please pray for me. my trainnee. our spanish. and hna gonzlez in her new area.
