Another good week here!! It was the week we have been waiting for since May because we had two parties to go do during our dinner hours! One on Friday, a kid's party with a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle theme, we got masks and the pinata was almost as tall as me! And then our menos activos graduation party. (Which turned out to be more like a quinceanera) She went hard and even had balloons with her face on them!! Like over 100 of them! We were asked to do service setting up the party and then I got volunteered to make the balloon arch, which if I might add I am impressed by!
Besides that we got to meet our new Mission President and wife and I love them!!!!! They are so fun and full of energy and they are pretty young. Their youngest daughter graduated in 2013. They sat by us during lunch and we talked about family, investigators, and starch (yep me and Hna. Gonzalez starch our clothes). Interviews are this week and I couldn't be more excited!! So far the biggest change he has brought is that now we are supposed to carry all of our standard works with us and teach out of all of them where as before it was strictly the Book of Mormon. I am having so much fun using all of them!!!!!! My allergies have been terrible this week!!!! I pop the Benodryl but the problem is that then I am exhausted!! Our investigators are doing good. Alberto went to Lubbock for over half the week though :( So pray that when he comes back tomorrow that he will continue to progress. All the prayers for Raquel worked and she is back!!!!!!!!!!!! She came back on Friday and when she called us I almost cried!! We love Raquel, she is hilarious and has to be baptized!! We taught her on Saturday and in her prayer she was like thank you for Joseph Smith and all the wonderful things he has done for us! Thank you for his revelations and this restored church!! So pray that she comes to church this Sunday por favor!! Antonio is a boy version of Raquel so hopefully things will keep going well with him, just pray that he doesn't get too distracted during the lessons. Exchanges are also this week and so that means I have to teach the whole lessons by myself because our STL's know no Spanish. So pray those will go well and that I will be able to understand what they are saying!!! Oh also I made tin foil dinners this week for Hna. Gonzalez and she loved!! So we officially started birthday month for me! So what I want is for FHE everyone to read "The Choice Generation" By: Randall L. Ridd. Oh and read the scriptures he references! And then think of one way they can use the internet to hasten the work (sharing a mormon message, a quote, your tesitmony, doing family history) then do it and write me a letter about it!! I also have some other ideas of things for birthday but do this one first!! xoxo con amor, Hermana Slade Line of the week: (it's must funnier in Spanish) Hna. Del Angel: Please bless all of the people, the poor, the ones unjustly in jail, the sad, the etc etc etc
