Old McDonalds + A Farm

The times just keep getting mas y mas intersante. #portalesfun We always have fun here especially doing our finding hours every day. Especially when I fill my bike basket full of Book of Mormons + play the church tunes! I pass them out like they are candy :) It's like a ice cream truck, but a Book of Mormon bike! And then we ride to the next person + I play my tunes-- MOTAB, efy, Jenny, + Christmas of course! We also found someone this week that was power walking so we just rode beside him on our bikes for like two blocks talking talking. We can ride + teach at the same time no prob.

Besides farm animals + old men this week has also had a gym theme. As at Zone Training the rules got laid down no insanity, P90X, Jillian, etc. allowed in the TLM. The pandemonium that happened after was intense jajaja. You could feel the pressure rising. And then the other was the next day. We saw this lady outside so we began our chat about Jesus coming to the Americas + before we knew it we were inside her "Triple Cross Fitness" gym getting a tour. It starts with a giant zebra cross on the wall + only escalates from there. It is an all womens Christian gym with Christian pop music! And they have a mother/daughter special right now.

Old Men. So during finding there was plenty of old men that thought it was nice to pat my shoulder or my hand + say "God Bless."

Farm Animals. I taught Hna. Gonzalez not to be afraid of calves this week + I convinced her to even pet them. But no she wouldn't let them suck her fingers! :( One day, one day. We also saw chickens, horses, roosters, geese, + goats. You name it the Melendez's have it! + I love it!

Church was super good this week. We challenged the people in our English class to bear their testimonies in English + they did + it was just so cute!! We also had 5 baby blessings. Only 2 were babies. One was 3, one 5, + one 7. I thought that was pretty interesting too..

We really need new investigators right now so please pray for that + please pray for Veronica + Perla. We are really hoping for 2 weddings + 2 baptisms before this transfer is over! I have faith we can do it!

Line/Moment of the Week:

We were biking listening to Jenny Phillips and a white pitbull started to charge me!! I promise it was going to bite of my leg!

Owner: You're good. You're good.

Yeah I laugh about it now. Then not so much. I now carry pepper spray in my basket. :)
